Governance Structure

45 YEARS OF OPERATION

100% Women-led Board of Directors
OUR COMMITMENTS

Four Pillars of Good Governance

Every decision at PWWSD is guided by these core governance principles.

Transparency

We publish annual reports, audited accounts, and board decisions. All stakeholders have access to clear, timely information about our work and finances.

Accountability

Board members are elected, not appointed. We maintain clear lines of responsibility from program teams to the General Assembly, with regular reporting at every level.

Participation

Members and beneficiaries have meaningful voice in our strategy. We conduct annual general assemblies, community consultations, and participatory monitoring processes.

Independence

Our Board operates independently of management. The Audit Committee functions separately from operations, and we maintain strict conflict-of-interest policies for all leadership roles.
